Renewable energy course

Last week I attended a four-day course on domestic renewable energy technology. I am a member of the St Andrews Environment Network – a small community organisation that encourages people living in my locality to save energy and live more sustainably. The course content was really interesting and for me it was great to be a participant rather than facilitator in a training event! The first stage will be to audit the existing use of domestic renewable technologies and put these ‘early adopters’ in touch with one another and others who are interested in installing the technology in their houses – in other words, create a kind of ‘community of practice’.
