Bruce helps organisations take innovative approaches to their development and growth. He is internationally recognised for his work on organisational learning in NGOs and is passionate about enabling organisations to recognise their collective expertise, develop their intelligence, increase their adaptability and become healthier and more enjoyable places in which to work.

Bruce has worked on these issues with international and national NGOs and networks in 28 countries on three continents since he began as an organisational consultant and trainer in 1984.

Bruce received his MBA from Edinburgh University and has degrees in Environmental Sciences and Social Work. He is the author of a number of influential publications on organisational learning and knowledge management in NGOs: The Learning NGO, Learning for Change and Organisational Learning in NGOs: Creating the Motive, Means and Opportunity.

As with all Framework partners, Bruce is committed to equality, social justice and ethical practice.

He lives in St Andrews, Scotland with his partner and two daughters with whom he shares an enthusiasm for power-kiting and sailing.
