Participative processes
One of Framework’s core values is to make sure everyone’s voice is heard. This is particularly needed in forming strategy or policy. We are experienced in using a range of techniques which allow people to marshal and use information in ways that unlock their creativity.
We may encourage participation by using questionnaires and interviews, email surveys, web chat rooms, focus groups and workshop formats. All of these are intended to gather the widest range of views.
Often we bring key stakeholders together in a ‘workshop’ event. The advantage of these is that all participants can have maximum opportunity to input and develop their views in a time-efficient, personal way. We help clients plan and structure these events not only to generate ideas, but then to discuss, prioritise and develop them.
A day working in this way can usually generate far more information than more traditional, formal debates and discussions and can give everyone the sense that they have had their say. They are usually more fun too!
