Organisational development and learning

Perhaps the most important capacity needed by organisations these days is the ability to learn from experience. Healthy, thriving organisations take a realistic, balanced approach to change. They adapt to the constantly changing pressures they face. They have the confidence to see both opportunities and threats in the outside world and they have the strength to deal with both. Organisations that take their own development seriously are more able to take greater control over their own future direction.

Organisational development is a planned, systematic and participatory process of change. It helps organisations increase their effectiveness, improve their health and strengthen their ability to learn and adapt. Our goal in supporting organisations through organisational development is to help them identify and build on existing strengths and to address the problems they face in ways that genuinely increase their ability and confidence to deal with future challenges.
