Retreats and development days
Framework members gather twice a year for a 48-hour residential retreat. Held over three days from lunch-time to lunch-time, it is a period for reflection, renewal and growth together. We normally head for a tranquil, rural setting and use the time to build relationships, develop our thinking, review our work with clients and make decisions about the development of the network.
Our retreats remind us of how our network is strengthened by the trust and respect, communication and challenge on which our relationships are based. They also give us a chance to enjoy peace and tranquillity in each other’s company.
Our development days are held between the two retreats. They are explicitly learning-focused and provide an opportunity for us to share and develop our knowledge and skills.
Our commitment to shared responsibility in the network means that we take it in turns to plan and facilitate these events. Even our travel costs are shared equally.
