Gopal leaving Framework

Written by

28th Jun 2016

Our friend and colleague, Gopal, will be leaving Framework next week after six and a half years with us. I had to look that up – can it be that long?! Gopal and I joined Framework at the same time, so we’ve always been ‘buddies’  and have shared a lot over that time.

Since joining Framework as a newly launched consultant, he has developed a highly successful specialist area of work focussing his work on business strategy and financial sustainability. He’s been inspired by working with long-term clients Fairtrade International, JASS and others, working on trade justice and women’s rights. He has decided to move on from Framework to have more time to spend on this professional work and also (as a volunteer) on the work of a charity in India that he has been closely involved in supporting for many years.

Gopal has brought a unique approach to our work in Framework: his perspectives as a versatile and experienced business planner, change leader, and expert in governance, financial stewardship and organisational sustainability. But more than that, over the years, Gopal has been the one to push Framework to look at our work in new ways and to take on challenges we didn’t know we could succeed in. Most recently, it was Gopal who led us into our first major public event – exhibiting at the Bond Annual Conference.

We will miss his unique take on our discussions. We wish him success and fulfilment in his new ventures and much fun with his long ‘bucket list’!
